Exercise 10: Using Helper Applications

In this exercise we'll show you how to use external applications in conjunction with Linkbot to browse the Web, edit HTML and graphic files.

To launch a URL in your browser:

Select the URL and press the Browser button on the toolbar.
Alternatively, you can double click on a selected URL. Note that this option doesn't work for the URL Tree.

To edit a HTML or graphic file:

1. Specify your default editors in the Apps Options tab:

2. Select a URL and press the Edit button on the toolbar:

Note: In this version of Linkbot the editing option will only work when you have started the Linkbot analysis from a local file on your hard disk.
